EVEN Member Story: How Madeleine navigates her career and motherhood with her EVEN Personal Board of Directors
Madeleine became an EVEN member in February 2026, she is the Associate Director, Learning Solutions at OES, where she works with universities across Australia and New Zealand to design and deliver digital learning experiences. She has spent more than 15 years in higher education and learning and development.
"I'm passionate about the positive impact that education has on individuals and communities," she says. At home, she's mum to twin toddlers, "who keep me on my toes and remind me daily that life rarely goes to plan. Like many women, I'm navigating the challenge and privilege of building a fulfilling career while also wanting to be fully present for my family."
Finding Her Personal Board of Directors
EVEN members are matched with like-minded peers, women who have similar outcomes for their EVEN membership. Madeleine was matched with other EVEN members to create an incredible Personal Board of Directors, many who are also navigating the tensions of ambition, leadership and family.
"Connecting with other exceptional women and hearing their experiences has been incredibly powerful. Despite our different industries, roles and backgrounds, I've been struck by how much common ground we share, particularly when it comes to balancing ambition, leadership, family and the many competing demands on our time."
"As a working parent, the work and parenting juggle can sometimes feel isolating. Through EVEN, I've realised that I'm not alone and I'm not doing it wrong. Many of the challenges we face are shared experiences for women navigating modern workplaces and leadership careers."
"It's also been inspiring to see examples of women who are thriving in corporate careers while also being present and engaged mums. Those conversations have given me confidence, perspective and a strong sense of community."
How EVEN membership flexes to what each woman needs
"For me, protecting the time for group coaching sessions has been one of the most valuable investments I've made. The conversations, perspectives and support from other members have been incredibly worthwhile."
"One of the things I love about EVEN is the flexibility. I've often watched sessions back in my own time and still gained enormous value from them. There is also such a wealth of content available on the platform that you can really choose your own adventure.”
"You don't have to navigate your career journey alone. The strength of the EVEN community is the women within it."
If Madeleine’s experience resonates, EVEN membership is designed for ambitious women at mid-career who are ready to invest in themselves.
