We're proud to share that EVEN Careers has been shortlisted for the UN Women Women's Empowerment Principles Awards, in the category of Technology & AI for Gender Equality.
Just two years after launching EVEN, it's a significant recognition of what we set out to build: a new kind of career ecosystem that helps women progress, lead and thrive, on their own terms.
Redesigning career development for women
The Women's Empowerment Principles Awards recognise companies turning their commitments to gender equality into real action.
That's exactly what we've been laser focused on since launching EVEN.
We started with a problem we couldn't ignore. Women's economic participation doesn't match their potential. Despite the ambition, experience and capability women bring to work, too many still face unequal access to leadership opportunities, influential networks, career sponsorship and professional development.
And the support gap is particularly pronounced at mid-career.
It's the stage when women are making some of the most consequential decisions about their careers, families and financial futures. At the very point women need better career support, they often have less access to it.
We built EVEN Careers to change that.
EVEN is a 1-year membership and community built for ambitious women at mid-career, combining coaching, a Personal Board of Directors, weekly masterclasses from the best women in business, on-demand career coaching and a network of women who get it. EVEN is ongoing, practical support that fits into women's working lives.
EVEN works with employers too, building more equitable leadership pipelines, retaining talented women and strengthening career-changing sponsorship. Because advancing women takes more than developing individual capability. It also means changing the systems around them.
expanding opportunity through tech
We see technology and AI as powerful enablers of gender equality, when designed and used with intention.
The EVEN platform makes high-quality career and leadership development accessible to women across industries, organisations and geographies, including those working in remote and operational environments.
Personalised career support is available whenever members, helping women navigate difficult conversations, career decisions and workplace challenges.
EVEN uses tech to make the best kind of career and leadership development – coaching, expert-insights, community - traditionally reserved for only an executive few available to many many women.
We’re just getting started
Since launching, we've supported hundreds of women across eight countries, partnered with organisations including BHP, Ventia, SUEZ and Jemena, and built an expansive women-only faculty of coaches and experts.
For EVEN members, 60% achieve a promotion, 100% feel more confident at work and 93% would recommend EVEN to others. We're so proud of those outcomes. And we're only getting started.
The scale of this year's UN Women WEP Awards makes our shortlisting particularly meaningful – over 900 applications across 20 countries.
To be recognised among organisations working to advance gender equality at this scale, with a business we started just two years ago, means a great deal.
Everything we do at EVEN comes back to the same ambition: getting more women into decision-making and leadership roles, expanding their access to economic opportunity, and helping them build careers and lives on their terms.
